Free and Premium plans compared

What you get on the Free plan, what Premium adds and when it makes sense to upgrade.

The Free plan lets you try the platform and run small or learning projects at no cost. Premium runs on more powerful servers and adds what a production website needs. This page sums up the practical differences that our customers ask about most often.

What stays the same

  • The same Control Panel and the same deployment methods: Web Deploy, FTP/SFTP, Git deploy.
  • Current versions of .NET, including the newest ones, on both plans.
  • MSSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
  • WebSockets and SignalR are supported (for production use with permanent connections we recommend Premium).

What is in a Premium subscription

Premium Single is meant for one project and includes:

  • 1 website on your own domain and 3 more websites on subdomains,
  • 2 databases,
  • 1 e-mail service (10 mailboxes for one e-mail domain),
  • free HTTPS certificates for all your domains.

Premium Multi is for up to 10 websites on 10 different domains, with e-mail for each of them.

Need a bit more? Individual resources can be added to a subscription at any time — an extra website or database, more memory or more database space. See Add services to a Premium subscription.

Good to know before you buy

  • Subscriptions are paid yearly. There is a 14-day money-back guarantee — see Billing period and refunds.
  • You do not have to start over. An existing Free website and database can be moved to Premium: Upgrade from Free to Premium.
  • Free and Premium are separate environments. A website and the database it uses should be on the same plan.
  • You can start with Premium Single and upgrade to Premium Multi later; you pay only the difference for the remaining period.
