Switch between accounts
Work with an account that has been shared with you.
When another customer adds you as a manager, you can work in their account with your own login. You do not need their password — you switch between your own account and the accounts shared with you.
See which accounts are shared with you
Sign in to the Control Panel and choose Managers in the Customer section of the left menu. The Authorized accounts card lists every customer who has granted you access, together with your Permission in that account.
If the card says Nobody has granted you access yet, ask the account owner to add you as a manager using the login e-mail of your account.
Choose an account when you sign in
Once at least one account is shared with you, the Select account page appears after you sign in. Each account is shown with the number of its websites, databases, mailboxes and subscriptions. Click the account you want to work in — your own or a shared one.
Switch while you are signed in
Click Switch Account
Click Switch Account in the top bar, or Switch Account at the bottom of the left menu.
Select the account
On the Select account page click the account you want to continue with.
While you work in someone else's account, the left menu shows a Manager box with your name, your login and your permission, so you always know that you are not in your own account.
What you can do in a shared account
Your permission is set by the account owner:
| Permission | What you can work with |
|---|---|
| Full access | All services and billing, but not the owner's account settings (password, billing info, OTP). |
| Technical | Websites, databases, e-mails, DNS and support tickets. |
| Billing | Invoices, subscriptions and billing contacts only. |
Menu items outside your permission are hidden.
Note
The account owner can change or revoke your access at any time. If their entry disappears from Authorized accounts, your access has been removed.
